Capital gains. 20% for state, 10% for Feds, 10% for agent to list it. Will be looking for ways around that. Trump talked about dropping it to 20%.

$1800 a month probably. A nice 3 bedroom goes for around $2100-$2700 a month.

Property tax is about 1% and probably $400 a year for insurance and about $400 a month for utilities.

After lunch check in, Tina paid $30,000 for our acre almost 30 years ago. House was small ,old and outdated. Could probably get $70,000 out of it now. No real reason to sell because we would just buy something bigger, she would buy more crap, and we'd have another payment.
I think not owing anybody sounds a hell of a lot better then having more floor space to clean and more checks to write.

I'm good.

100% Mark! We have been doubling down trying to pay our place off. We can see the light now! Maybe 5 more years and we are free and clear.
