Got new handlebars for the Kawabunga today. NOS ones are unobtanium so had to get the closest size I could find. They came in a box that was 31" x 21" x 12"....the box weighs more than the bars..$31 on Amazon with free shipping.

Serious question....I do not nap. Do you find them to be habit forming, i.e., if you start taking them your body starts demanding them. (not unlike Marcus' urge for quarterlies)

Geez, Marcus, you'd think she'd have plenty of recuperation time between sessions.

Afternoon all, here's hoping all those sick, about to be sick or were sick get better.

Got about 4" of sand cleared off the walk and driveway yesterday, don't mind the cold as much as the sand, but lately it's been cold and sandy here.

Blew off fishing as the wife thinks -15 or so is to cold..thank goodness.
7 above now and 39 by Friday, will try again then.

Not bad accuracy for an AR Lou.

Doc says I get to do a stress test in about 2 months or so, get to find out how much the heart will take..uh huh, really looking forward to that.
Physical Rehab has been going well, diet is a bit lagging, not sure why everything that tastes good is bad for ya, but seems that way.

I wouldn't even try to start the WG, I'd be surprised if it even turned over in these temps, much less being crazy enough to try and ride it.

Nap time, cya later.

Alw

Afternoon all. Shop is all cleaned up for the Ag Showcase in the shop. Gloomy day here. Tomorrow will be a paperwork day. Went for a walk and visited one of the engineering labs. They blew the supercharger off the Alison V-12 at the last pull. Over reved it.

Awesome, I remember the story Pete Hill told about drag racing and the expense. A guy wanted to buy a drag bike from him. Pete asked the guy for a hundred dollar bill. Pete took the bill tore it in half and through in the garbage. He said "If that bothers you then you don't want this bike."
