Hello, Marcus. I thought of you yesterday. I rode by a Hooters that was celebrating their grand opening. I was gonna stop and have a birthday beer for ya but did not.

I love to cook. Been using my cast iron skillet for years. **** the new copper BS all the rage. Get that skillet HOT and see what happens....
Nothing like seasoned cast iron. I'm almost religious about it. Every time I cook with it I clean it with scalding water, wipe it down and lightly oil it for tomorrow, or whenever I need it next.
Chewed my knife making buddy out. Found a wonderful old cast iron skillet down in his BARN! It was his Grandma's!! He cleaned it up, and cooked some steaks in it tonight since it's too cold to grill outside with the high wind. Shot me a text and said DAMN, cooks good steaks!

EWvenin', Woods.....just got home and I'm not back reading, so if I missed anything important...let me know tomorrow. Tiled countertops all ripped out , all appliances unhooked and moved out, new countertops made and laminated....finish up the rest tomorrow. I almost walked out about 10 am....They had NO COFFEE!!!! Keurig sitting on the bar, no coffee, he finds tea. Calls his girlfriend to see where the coffee was and there's none. Told him " New rules ...no coffee...no Dad!"...Kid says " I'll be right back" He went for coffee....quick learner...
