Morning, Mick, Mark I, Chuck.
Looks to be a nice day here.
I have managed to beg out of a reception tonight. I'll be in search of some local Messican fare.
Tons of great food down there. Some of them are on wheels!
Very bad stuff Mick. The got a half an inch if rain in 5 minutes. A once in 200 year event and on a fresh burn area.
From what I've read most don't understand that California mountains aren't solid like most ranges. They are little more than piles of loose rock refuse and easily fall apart when it rains or from earthquake vibrations.
With no vegetation there to hold this loose rock and soil in place, it invariably turns into a slurry of paste and muck, overwhelming anything in its path.
San Diego... sounds outstanding. Yeah, keepin the lights on for one more night. Good news, should be pickin up a new car on Friday. Getting a 65 ImpalaSS
Jealousy is lifting it's evil head in front of me. Had a buddy in high school whose Dad bought a '65 SS soon after they came out, white with red interior, 327, 4 on the floor, bucket seats, positraction, and... it was a convertible!
