Good morning check in! Overcast day here. Rained last night. Supposed to get 2-3 inches of rain this week. Doing yard work and general clean up. Was looking through the glass on my scope this morning and couldn't be happier. It is clearer than my binoculars or my spotting scope.
Hope the weather isn't beating you guys up too bad.

Hey guys. Update on my wife, Mary Ann.
As some of you already know, my wonderful wife Mary Ann, has been fighting Ovarian Cancer for just under 4 years. During that time she has been getting chemo every 3 weeks and it has been keeping the monster at bay. We've been told that once the drug she's been on stops working, that there will be little they can do. We are now at that point. There's a slight possibility that one more chemo drug might work, but she was on it at the beginning and the side effects are very severe. There is fluid containing cancer cells in her left lung and around her liver as well as a possible tumor on the liver. Biopsy is scheduled on Tuesday.
So what this all means is that we are running out of options and the cancer is back, most probably to stay. She is taking it well at this point but we are very concerned that our remaining time together may be very short. We've been together since 1970 and married since 1973. She's not only my wife, but my best friend.
