Hey Tim and Bob!

Bob, it is a Whirlpool fridge. Had a repair man for our dishwasher tell me that appliances only last 5-7 years now. We paid a lil extra for this fridge in the hopes that it would last longer with no troubles...sadly disappointed

Evening Marcus. We have a Samsung with repeated issues. The new stuff is crap. I've vowed to buy commercial from here on out. Something without computers. And probably an ice maker I suppose.

I have a fridge in the garage that was made in 1993. It works fine, but it is ugly and has no ice maker or water dispenser. Too bad they don't make'em like that any more. I rarely use ice and I can handle the tap water here so I could do without the amenities like that

I have one on a lower level and it has been fine since I bought it in 94. It has an ice maker and water dispenser, but I've never hooked them up. They would probably be just fine anyway because it's just levers and valves - no sensors or electronic nannies.

My condolences Jack! Seems like too many good ones leave too young.
