I bought a Delco starter, and on the box it said that it was a GM replacement starter. I'm assuming that means it fits everything.
I'm just upset because we have been using the same generic label for years. Now we end up having to either eliminate the advertisement (that's really all the big label is) on the side of the box. Remove models from it or make separate labels for each model.
Because one guy orders the wrong damn thing and won't admit it.

I think the real concern here is that you have a customer that thinks the transmissions on Dynas, FLs, and Softails are the same. Please tell me this guy isn't doing his own work.
That'd be like letting some IT guy in Colorado do his own DD6 install!
