That would be fun. Except the lead babbit bearings
I have the spoons for it. I've done lead bearings before. I just don't have the callers for the shaft. I usually use tinfoil. It is a pain though. These ones have a grease zerk.
Back from lunch. Got a call from a customer who said he got the wrong kit from Drag. I asked for a part number and sure enough the kit is for baggers and FXRs and he is working on a softail.
Not a big deal just swap a few parts.
Now the kicker:
Cust: It says on the box it fits softails.
Me: I don't believe that is possible unless Drag labeled it wrong.
Cust: No it's not Drag's label it is the Baker label.
Me: Sir we do not put labels on our kits showing the model and year fitment.Only the invoice and part number.
Customer: No it is not a Drag label it is the Baker label. It says FXR, FLH, FLT, Softail , Dyna.
Me: Send me a picture
First off the white label is Drags label, secondly.......WHERE IN THE F%$# DOES IT SAY SOFTAIL OR DYNA.
People.
