I've seen bullnosed set-screws used instead of keys.
Should be 2 90* apart when that style is used.

Why not get the right sized square key and only use the Allen to lock it into place?

Never seen a bull nose screw. Had to look it up. I use the set screws with the serrated tip.

We usually sell the yokes with a square head set screw. That way you can really tighten it on the key and shaft. Also makes it easier to get out instead of trying to remove a seized set screw.

Sure makes it easier to replace stuff that breaks though. We ran them on all our PTO shafts to equipment.
