I've seen bullnosed set-screws used instead of keys.
Should be 2 90* apart when that style is used.

We usually sell the yokes with a square head set screw. That way you can really tighten it on the key and shaft. Also makes it easier to get out instead of trying to remove a seized set screw.
Sure makes it easier to replace stuff that breaks though. We ran them on all our PTO shafts to equipment.
