Been all over Big Bend in my youth. I've hiked to the top of Emory Peak. Don't recall it being too rough, course I was in my 20's. I never saw another soul when i was hiking and camping in those mountains in the '80's. Saw my first mountain lion in the wild tho, too damn close for comfort, but he was moving....

 

Thanks Jack, I've always enjoyed that area. Planning on taking the bike out there probably next fall since a spring trip will be to the Three Sisters for bluebonnets an ****. I asked Greg if he thought about renting a bike in San Antonio instead of riding his down.

 

Why wouldn't he ride his down? Wife coming? I would be interested in doing the Sisters in the Spring...

 

He says Glo will be in San Antonio for 5 days so he's on the clock. Besides, he'd probably like an extended test ride on a SG, especially if it was chrome yellow

 

As would I, minus the yellow....

He rents a SG I wanna borrow it....
