I was in the mood for a movie this evening. Something I saw earlier today reminded me of 'Guadalcanal Canal Diary'. I looked & lo & behold, I got it.
Sooo,...
I watched it. Good movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hadn't seen it in years. Definitely in my top 20.
I may have to re-watch some of these old WWII movies I got here. The liberal heads of the cable industry don't play these pro American, we saved the world from tyranny & oppression at the cost of hundreds of thousands, (according to wiki; 407,300), of our own lives films.
I grew up with them. I like'em.
