TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part X
Morning check-in. At the shuffle place typing my resignation letter. Turning it in today.
Still a little foggy from yesterday ......oh wait .....that's normal fog LOL.
All is well and went well.

Dog walk over and I see we have standing room only. I get back, Sherri is in the dressing area and says, "Yesterday my hair drier gave up the ghost." I say, "It may just be the ground fault interrupt, lemme re-set it." I grab the drier, re-set the GFI, plug it in and it works like a charm. I am so proud of myself. She says, "Why did you do that, it's brand new, I bought it yesterday when I threw the other one out."

I'm sure your instincts were correct Mick. The difference between being a victim or not often comes down to situational awareness. It astounds me how many people lack that in this day and age.
I'm curious - how did that conversation go? Did they look surprised and git, or have they had that talk before and simply walked away like it was just another day at work...

Bob, it was more of a two step.
Morning all!
Predicted wind chills here in MN to reach -35 to -55 below, single digits for the next few days and not a mosquito in site.
News mentioned we had about 2" of sand and almost 1200 driver errors which resulted in crashes.
And we make fun of Wisconsin drivers, uh huh..
To add injury to injury seems I developed what's kind of called water on the elbow, there's a fancy name for it, but I doubt I could pronounce it even if I knew what it was, so off to the Doc I go this morning.
TGIF for those who are keeping score.
Stan you changing jobs?
Must have missed that, good luck.
