How about this one? Last night I run out to the store. As I get near my house there is a black Silverado going very slowly....stop directly in front of my house and a female gets out. Stands in the middle of the street, pickup pulls forward across the end of my driveway...I sit still for a few moments and the driver sticks his arm out to motion me around. Uh, moron, you're blocking my drive.
I am watching the female walk up to the house directly across the street and now my 'what in hell' sensor is pegging. Another vehicle behind me squeezes around to the left and again the Silverado guy motions for me to go around. Uh, no.
I now have my weapon in hand. I flash my headlights and Silverado pulls up just enough for me to get in my drive. I pull up, hit the garage door remote and pull in. I am out of the truck, weapon at the ready when both of them start up my drive.
We didn't mean to alarm you, we are looking for a lost dog. Yeah, right.
I tell 'em...I am armed and will shoot you. I have made note of the license on your truck. Get the eff off my drive and get your *** out of this neighborhood.
Fellers, never let your guard down.

Sadly, we would have to let them up the drive, take a look, grab anything they want with open arms. Giving a hug is an option as well.

Morning Woods. Last day of work for the year. Hopefully the last joke of "We can fix it but will be next year..." Heard that about 5 times yesterday.

A bit brisk out there....
-35F with an windchill of -52F. May have to wear my wooly mammoth socks today.

Don't forget to offer an apology for not having everything they need.

Mornin Greg!
Morning Mark and Greg!
It is funny how one acclimates quickly here in the north. Not long ago anything under 50 degrees felt cold. We had a day or two below zero, and now 12 degrees feels great. Cheryl and I did a 3 mile hike in the blowing snow and 10 degrees. I had to take my gloves off a few times because I was getting warm. Thirty would be a heat wave.
