Greg, I've done the Sisters in April before. A fantastic ride with the bluebonnets in bloom. I told Kristi I would take her down there this spring. April is as good as time as any. Jack?

Stayed in Kerrville last time I did the Sisters....

Hotel was full of Poindexters covering their bikes at night, but I remember this gigantic Live Oak. Pic doesn't do it justice. They built the hotel around it. No telling how old that tree is.....

I stayed in Camp Wood at a veteran owned hotel my first night. Rode one of the Sisters on the way there, then completed the other two the following day. Walked across the street for a good Mexican breakfast at the El Falcon. I covered my bike that night....

Well, on that note I'm out. Someone made me a pecan pie tonight, homemade crust and all. Think I'm gonna go sample a slice....

I'm jealous Jack! Pecan pie is the shizzle....my favorite. Come on down and visit, let's go eat some Mexican food and drink tequila.

Hell, Hwy 16 getting to the Sisters is a great ride. Tons of roads around the Hill Country that are sweet. I need to get down there again...
