Evening check in - headed to the sofa. Long day. Told the man that originally hired me that I was leaving. That was tough .... he got all weepy. Didn't expect that.
Giving official notice Friday (surgery tomorrow).

I had a boss tear up. It was strange and I only worked for him a little over a year. Didn't even like the guy.
