50 years ago I didn't freeze me butt off. Lived in the tropics, could shower outdoors, cost of living was dirt cheap. But even there I ended up doing some home improvement.

G'Afternoon, Woods...stress level is off the charts! My mother decided yesterday that she should get something for the nurses and others at the nursing home...YESTERDAY!!!!! and then gave me a tough time on what to get..so guess where I've been ..at a friggin' candy store. Not much selection on Christmas candy the friggin'
day after Christmas.... of course, whatever I got will be wrong. Oh...and we have a houseful of people coming here tonight..........Yeah, I just love the holidays..rant over..Thanks.

Having worked in the HVAC field, I can say it wasn't fun, there's a few houses here that have their furnace outside and I had the pleasure of working on a few of them.

No holiday exchange of gifts here, I got her a Sig P320 and she got me a Sig 1911 M1-A1 earlier as gifts.
Not a fan of 9mm, but the M-1 is a fun gun to shoot.

Finally warmed up to -2 below, gonna be cold all week, but hopefully be able to get the icehouse out soon and do a little fishing.

 

Yeah, but I was in the poor part of town!!!!
