Works better than the rock salt as well. i think Sodium Chloride works to about 20 degrees and that's it

I bought 100 lbs the other day. If we get ice storms, won't be able to find it anywhere

no salt here... It's a family game of ice derby each entry to the house. may the odds be forever in the four year olds favor.

Have mostly pavement. Front walks are concrete but are so old...pure acid wouldn't bother it. CC has to be less corrosive than salt. They put so much salt on the roads that just parking your car destroys concrete.

Our side walk is only about 15 years old and still in great shape.

I can tell you this much....since the started using it on the concrete here the bridges have deteriorated considerably.
