What in the Sam Hill? From the website...
"Terra Incognita Media believes that rock climbing and trekking the Pacific Crest Trail shouldn’t be synonymous with whiteness or masculinity. This discussion-heavy workshop is one of five previous events hosted by the group and will explore the ways “toxic masculinity manifests in the outdoor industry/culture.” Bring business cards and a journal to jot down notes. EMILLY PRADO"

Exactly WHO would be out there climbing and walking the trails?

Mick, it's like a train wreck. I went to the organizer's FB page and found this...

"We are raising funds to become a non-profit! When you purchase a tank, sweater, or shirt your money supports independent feminist media for the outdoors. Link in profile if you want to represent this unabashed and unapologetic organization. We don't answer to investors or sponsors so that we can continue to tell it like it is and provide a fierce analysis on how the outdoor industry engages in the systems of white supremacy, capitalism, patriarchy and colonialism."

I had no idea women were being oppressed in the outdoors.

No Mick, I need to stay well away from these people....
"Tonight at 7pm at Lucky Lab off N Killingsworth in PDX! The line up is amazing and @jennybruso of @unlikelyhikers is hosting. It will be an incredible night of queer, trans, and gender non-conforming speakers sharing their stories about the outdoors, traveling and beyond! We are so excited to see new narratives in the outdoors."

I think my MAGA hat would not be well received.

Good morning from confused California. 22* this morning with less than 10% humidity on its way to 80+. Hard on the sinuses.
