Eavning all. Good eagles game.
Fire report isn't good. 200,000 acres burned and now they are evacuating parts of Santa Barbara. It has been very smokey here. Over 500 homes burned down.

Evening Woods,
Grandsons 1st Birthday Party today. Hard to believe he is already a year old and about to walk.
Fire Department Christmas Dinner.
FD members went to a local nursing home to present one of our retired firefighters a service plaque for 34 years of selfless service, retired his helmet which will be hung at the FD and visited with him for a while. He is quite ill but is recovering and was brought to tears several times during our short visit. Took two engines and the medic unit to the nursing home.
I was awarded the 2017 Firefighter of the Year. Not sure why but I'll take it.
My special needs daughter was recognized by the department for her help in several fund raisers and just about anything else she can do for the department.
Been a grand day!

some of Jack's Beans...............
