re-morning, Woods...back from Xmas shopping. Daughter calls this morning and tells my wife that she bought a big (3') tractor trailer for a friend and my g'son fell in love with it and they'reon sale today and they only have one left...blah blah blah. Wife offers to go for it (2miles away). This would involve a half day trip for her. I said ' They open at 8, I'll go".........8:02...text my daughter "DONE"...that's the way you shop!

I'm not a shopper...I'm a buyer......go in, buy it and get out!

TV mount for new bedroom TV was delivered a little after 7 this morning. Mount weighs as much or more than the TV...at least, I have something to do this morning.

 

Those mounts are heavy, I made sure I hit studs when I mounted mine(which can be a challenge in my old house as there were no building codes when it was built) and I thought the whole wall might come down.

 

I may not have a lot of choices as to where I mount it. Stud finders are almost useless in this house between the lathe and heavy plaster. if it's a critical attachment, I use the
spring loaded butterfly anchors.
