I use bait traps outside, Orkin or Decon in them, keeps them from making a home. Living next to the woods it is impossible to stop them but I have not seen any since I have kept the bait traps loaded.

I will look for it, Mick. Benjamin likes the "Ricky Ricotta and his Mighty Robot" book series in which the main character, Ricky, is a mouse and there is a series of books that come in Chick-Fil-A kids meals about "Library Mouse". They seem to enjoy all lil critters
