At this point , it may be neither. BIL called a little while ago and says " You want to go up thru NY State to Lake George then over to VT and up thru Lake Champlain and then to Lake Placid and through the Adirondacks?"....I said " Sure, when?' He says " Tomorrow, Sunday and Monday ".....I Said... "OK"... now I have to get bike ready.

Won't be spending too much time there....High priced touristy town . seems to loaded with tree-huggers.

Couple years back I stopped for a drink in Ashland Oregon, after about 10 mins I couldn't get the bike in gear fast enough. Way beyond "Tree Huggers"

 

Rich, unfortunately I will be reopening the PNW Bachelor Pad V2 in November in Portland. Ought to be a blast again...
