TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part X
It worked out ok for CCW in the winter in a shoulder rig. It is not my go to for CCW though. S&W Model 669, 9MM, stainless works for that, also had a Walther PPKS, .380 in either a shoulder rig or paddle holster
I would love a full sized .357. I have my Ruger SP101 (bobbed hammer) snub nose for concealed carry but never hurts to have another that shoots the same ammo.
Much like Terry, I had a S&W Model 60 .38 cal until my boating accident. Wow, those things have shot up in price....
Mornin, Al. Thanks for the coupon story. Here's one for you. Sherri and I go to the store yesterday. On her shopping list is 'wicks', as in the type to make candles. We look and cannot find any. I ask why she needs wicks. She says she has scented candle wax and wants to make candles.
I tell her, go to a hobby shop. No problem, she says. One aisle over she throws a pack of popsicle sticks in the cart. What are those for I ask.
She says, I kid you not, I will use those instead of wicks.
Huh? She tells me she will cut them, put them in the melted wax as a wick.
Uh, Sherri.....that will make the house smell like you are attempting to burn it down.

Several, years ago. Lost a bunch, some were unfired too.
Mick, Mick, Mick....you gotta put your foot down and tell her "Yes, dear....that sonds like a fantastic idea!"
