I missed a good meeting the other night. The city councilman was there as well as the parks department to try and explain why we should continue to maintain city property and water it all at our expense. They want us to continue to pay retail for water to water their areas. They also used some City Math to try and explain some things that don’t add up. I’ll have to have another meeting with them to explain REAL math.

 

Is there anyone you will leave behind on the board that remotely thinks the way you do?

 

I have been trying to bring them along but the most important thing I can leave with them is to be consistent and follow the rules as written. The second they deviate because they think they’re helping someone out, someone else will find out and demand the same accommodation which means you really don’t have any rules as their application can be considered arbitrary and capricious.
