Please stop now!
I would like to have a white Thanksgiving one of these days. Pretty ugly here with all the weeds.

Lou ... I'll trade ya October, November and December for January February and March
Happy Thanksgiving all.
We're especially thankful this year as twice now the medical profession has kept me going, once for an abscess in the brain and just recently with the heart attack.
Makes one thankful for what they have, much less what they want.
40 balmy degrees here today, just waiting for the turkey to be done so the wife and I can eat, there goes the diet.
As far as a .38 goes imho for carry a .38/357 Ruger LCR would be my choice.
For just a shooter or hunting a S&W 686 would be nice, and I have a 625 in .45acp I really like shooting.
Hard to beat the smell of Hoppe's number 9.
We have no kids, so the holidays weren't quite so important to be home, and considering I made triple time when I worked, it was easy to take holidays from others who had kids.
They got to be home and I made pretty good money.
You guys think there might be a bed available for the get together?
Still up in the air, but it'd sure be nice to meet all you crazies.
Be safe, be well..
Alw

Al, doesn't that little Ruger feel like a 4th grade old lady teacher whacking the palm of your hand with a heavy wooden ruler when you fire a .357 with it? My much heavier Ruger, forget the model now, stainless with fixed sights, was painful with stock grips, still stings a bit with big Pachmeyer's firing .357s.

Supposed to be at my daughter's for a big family get together, but some bug got ahold of me last nite, down with congestion, cough and so hoarse I can barely speak. Don't wanna pass that around. And 50's weather coming up, talk about bad timing.
Dreamed about riding an old Kawasaki 1300 6 cyl beast in the snow last nite, handled real good drifting corners. What a weird thing to dream about. I'm gonna blame it on Pennsylvania Al and all that talk about Kawasakis, never had one meself. But I did ride a 1300 back when they just came out, real monster at that time. Drifting corners in snow with one of those would certainly end badly...

Not into tats, but something about that gal is still so damned enticing...
