Frame looks good Al ... Don't scratch it stuffing that monster motor back in it's home.

Larry, funny thing is that I had a helluva time getting it out without scratching the frame and I had help. Put a few scratches in the frame

Been there ... Tape and towels ( don't tell the wife though ) will help!

Blue painters tape is your friend. Cover the heads, motor mounts, and the frame compartment. One the engine is installed, use a pry bar to move it around and get the tape off.
Just put a 120 in a chopper last spring and we didn't make a single scratch

Thanks. Never pulled a m/c engine before. Used to using a cherry picker on cars. Looked like it should slide right out but it wouldn't. On the cars I built I'd have double layers of moving pads on everything. Looks like just removing cylinder head cover cap will make it a lot easier. Engine won't be going in for a while, this is supposed to last all winter to get done.
