Happy holidays friends. May your bellies be full and your brain on the verge of alcohol poisoning. Loading up the fam tomorrow for the 1600 mile round trip to trailer country.
Good flight today. Successfully put crosshairs on the target at a 10nm range using radio direction finding. These guys would never have seen the Hellfire coming.
Hmmmmmmm. Hellfire Huh.
Did you know my first wife?
Blue painters tape is your friend. Cover the heads, motor mounts, and the frame compartment. One the engine is installed, use a pry bar to move it around and get the tape off.
Just put a 120 in a chopper last spring and we didn't make a single scratch

Been there ... Tape and towels ( don't tell the wife though ) will help!

Thanks. Never pulled a m/c engine before. Used to using a cherry picker on cars. Looked like it should slide right out but it wouldn't. On the cars I built I'd have double layers of moving pads on everything. Looks like just removing cylinder head cover cap will make it a lot easier. Engine won't be going in for a while, this is supposed to last all winter to get done.
