Bikes don't get put away permanently out here.

Once the salt hits the pavement, mine hibernates in the garage till spring. Hopefully, the winter goes by fast! I still have many leaves to clean up in the yard, Friday's task I guess.

Mornin Terry! We get rideable days all throughout the Winter and they are very scant with the salt in my areas

Yeah, the sand is a bigger issue out here.
Mark, did you say it snowed up by you yesterday? Just a little rain down here.

Ohio is a lose the salt if you don't use the salt state, they lay that stuff on heavy. The brine is even worse, it is like trying to get grease off of your vehicle.

CDOT uses a MagChloride solution here from time to time, generally when a wet storm and cold weather are forecast.
