They had to provide their own Chromebooks? Bummer....The district has iPads and Chromebooks at the elementary school where my critters go. I am sure I pay for it in one way or another through property or sales tax.

The up side is they can learn some programming stuff that is not available on Windows. Not sure if they are into that but there is my unsolicited career guidance advice

I say charcoal sticks and backs of shovels were good enough for our greatest president and that's the way it ought to be! Now get off my lawn!

They didn't have to provide their own but the schools here don't provide them either. I don't have a home computer anymore since mine crapped out about 2 years ago. They needed them to complete homework assignments.

Morning Terry and Russ.

Coffee is exceptionally good this morning, Al. Stayed up too late last night. We went out for Italian food and red wine. Copious amounts of red wine.

Mu kids don't even get home work. WTF!? Schools now mystify me. How are they supposed to learn to nap if they don't have home work to avoid?

OMG, we need to get those kids a computer quick! Those young men are being deprived of their rights of passage. Tell me you at least have some old National Geographic magazines laying around?

Well, it is good they learn to use a laptop/PC/Chromebook. My kids can use a tablet or smart phone but they'd be lost on a real computer. With the way information is being digitized and collected knowing how to do that sort of thing can be a step in the right direction for a career. I do pretty good for a guy that has never been to call-edge.

Uh oh, I am doing what Larry said he avoids doing...giving other peoples kids advice.
