Well the ones in my family do, sometimes we even let them play. Had to elbow my way into the game when I was younger. Grouchy ole coots wouldn't let me play, now they want me on their team.
My family to an extent as well. Especially when all the older guys get together. When they are not around, all the youngins do are drink.
My Pop played Pinochle when he was in the Navy. I don't think any one else knew how to play in our family. I like to play Spades.
It's similar to spades in the euchre kind of way. You use two euchre decks and you bid (or pass if you don't have **** to bid on) your hand. So a little more strategy than euchre or spades.
Then there is melt, melt bids, and uncles that have very different opinions on what constitutes a melt bid. But I only have 27 minutes left so we won't get into that today.
