The trick to the blast cabinet is to hook up a shop vac to it to clear dust and put a fluorescent light in it....I was able to fit a car radiator in my big one. Pretty much beadblasted every part of a car that I could fit in it

Having never used one, do you use baking soda right out of the box as the medium or buy special soda?

They make a special coarser grade for that....50lb bag for $40. Regular baking soda is too fine. Use it outdoors, turns into a fine powder after it hits and you just hose the area down .
