Wouldn't it have been easier for them to shut up and not make a big deal about it? Little girl/boy will need to figure out how the world works with people judging at a young age so when he/she gets to the real world, they know how to handle themselves.

So many things were solved with coconuts! That is where we have gone wrong...we have advanced to an age where simple solutions are impossible. Though, I suppose...one could argue that building a bamboo and coconut golf cart is not simple...but let's keep the nay-saying to a minimum
