Lectric company shut the power off this afternoon for 3 hours for maintenance, never happened before. Thought that would be a good time for a grocery run, taking the long way to the grocery store (hour plus versus 5 minutes). Hell, in 5 minutes my fingers were cold, though the medium weight gloves would be plenty. Weren't... Didn't take the long way. Dammit. Got some chocolate ice cream to soothe me hurt feelings. Oh yeah, the garage door opener didn't work. Been years since I've opened one by hand. Microwave wouldn't warm my coffee, either. That really sucked.

I'm wrestling with a small cold and sore throat received from kubbing in the cold.... oooff
