We'll I survived the fair last night and managed to get my EGR valve out this morning. By the look of it it's slightly overdue for a cleaning.

I keep a clean ever valve on the shelf for easy swap out. They get dirty fast.

Lou guessed it, 6.0 Ford. I'm a Ford guy but this truck really makes me appreciate a Dodge with a good Cummins in it.

 

Dave, have you had the upgrade to the EGR system and the oil cooler system done? What year is it?
