Not hinged but hook and loop. It's a high track D4H. Small pans.
I exploded my thumb on a TD25 when the owner assured me that the pan was hinged and as I took the last bolt out the 1000lb pan full of dirt landed on my thumb. All my thumbs guts blew out the front of my thumb. Nice hole. Looked like a 22 came out of my thumb. I lit up the owner!

All good. Super hard dirt. I trust it. Only two feet past the requirement for trench plates.
What is scary is when you remove all the bolts and it won't drop. That's when bad stuff happens.

famous last words... ha. be safe.
Jack's and dunnage and a lifting strap. Luckily when it dropped on my thumb it bounced and I pulled my thumb out.
