Morning check in. Enjoying a little time off work... well, as much as I can with a sour gut. Going through the receipts for the Impala last night. She was given a full restoration in 90, then not taken care of. Gonna media blast her, paint her matte black, add an AOD and 4 wheel disc brakes. Big block eventually, but has a brand new 350 so I'll keep it for a bit

I've been behind some 350s that were nothing to be ashamed of. Biggest motor I've had in a Chevy was a 396, decent power but what a gas hog. Had an Olds 4xx (gas hog), Pontiac 455 (gas hog) and Dodge 440 (better mileage, most power), so I do understand the appeal of cubic inches, though.
