Ona bright side w are getting closer to spring every day!

 

haven't used any salt down here yet... thankfully. I don't wanna think about spring yet... too far away

 

They kill this hill with salt, school buses use it and it, well you have to ride up it to know!!

 

Around a 600' drop in elevation to the main two lane, with a 90* bend and a couple of S bends... just warms up the tires just right ona chilly mornin!

Saw the CL ad here, shame it has the powerglide, 2 speeds ain't a lot of fun. Had one in a '67 Impala with a 283, real slug off the line, no highway passing power. But those old cruisers sure had a nice ride, way more comfortable than anything smaller than a pickup truck today. For my long legs and wide butt anyway.

Jealousy is lifting it's evil head in front of me. Had a buddy in high school whose Dad bought a '65 SS soon after they came out, white with red interior, 327, 4 on the floor, bucket seats, positraction, and... it was a convertible!

 

It’s getting cold already. +1 out with wind gust to 20mph. Makes wind chill about -20. -20 is the predicted temp tonight. Granddaughters and one of their boyfriends came over and snowblowed the driveway and shoveled my walkways and deck for me. They are such nice kids.

 

Last nite's local station said probably about a half inch. I just pushed 2-3 off the drive and it's still coming down. 7*, chilly werk, the warm spell is over for a while.

Got lucky, supposed to pick up my Grandson from school, and his Mom decided to beat the rush hour home so she picked him up. No de-icing or salt bath today.

Kinda strange, back felt pretty good after pushing sn*w. I can stand up from sitting down almost normally, no hands on knees pushing up slowly. Also been hitting an exercise machine a few times a day that doesn't strain the back, helps loosen up, too. I hate just sitting around doing nuttin.
