LOL my 50 cal black powder just rolls 'em right over. As long as they're in around 150 yds or less... It's basically like shootin' em with a 45ACP. No suffering either.

Day at daughter's house yesterday helping her fix it up. Starting to look a lot like mine, but without Harley parts hanging off nails in the wall.
State law here car insurance covers windshields, no deductible. Dry salt bits just pit hell out of em, actually nice to have em crack every few years to see good again with a new one. I've had several replaced. My van had a brand new one when I got it, and it didn't last two months before it got broke, but that wasn't salt; damned wiper blade wasn't on right and came off, and the arm cracked the windshield when it hit. Sure didn't take much...
.223 can mess up a deer. Saw one hit in the neck, round went down the neck wandered around in the chest, and came out behind the front shoulder. Deer was next to a fence, and just leaned over on it, didn't even fall down, died instantly. Weird how their legs can lock when they die.

Mid day check in. Been an interesting couple days. Got an X-ray and MRI on my back. Doctor wants to operate, chiropractor says he wouldn't. Talk to the doctor again tomorrow. Went to an auction Saturday for a defunct gun shop. Picked up a new 1911. It was my second choice, got outbid on the first one but made the other guy pay almost retail for the first one. Haven't fired it yet, but haven't met a 1911 I didn't like yet
