Poser's Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VIII

Taking a break from the last minute gotta do this before it snows. Not supposed to be much tonite, just hope they don't pour salt on the roads. Too early to stop riding.
I put a mix of plug in and battery motion lights around the house. Can go pee, get something to drink, and anyone in the upstairs bedroom can, too. The battery ones last months. Whatever it is that haunts the house plays with them occasionally and I have to turn them off to get to sleep, doesn't happen often. Funny thing is, only messes with the plug in type. Maybe it likes AC better'n DC.
I keep the bikes away from the squirrels, damn things likeseat foam. One occasionally gets in the shed somehow, so I keep those bikes' seats in the house. Exposed gas lines for outdoor grills seldom last more than a few days. Maybe they like the smell of propane. They're death on helmets, too, one destroyed my Simpson motorcross. There aren't near as many squirrels around here now...

pffffffft, got motion detection on the outside.....bedroom is clear across the whole house.....wouldn't know if the ghost of christmas was upon me.
as for snow change over....gonna be thanksgiving weekend, usually don't get nuttin til january 'round these parts.
nuttin eats wires better than mice, squirrels know there place, right on the bird feeders....

Friend offered me an unused half of their garage, so a Ural and the trailer are in there now. Forecast sounds like the opening of salt season, and I won't be taking that trailer out in the salt anyway.
Picked out the garden, couple hundred peppers, few dozen tomatoes, maybe a dozen butternut squash. Most of the peppers didn't get ripe, they'll go in chili or soup where the flavor (or lack of) won't matter as much. I've been ignoring the inside of the house all summer, getting time to fix a buncha stuf and hours of getting veggies in the freezer. Worth it, should be enough to keep me in chili and tomato soup all winter. I've been tweaking my tomato soup, last pot was the best I've ever had.
