Finally, the truck doesn't sound like I'm riding inside a big bass drum on the highway. Still has a V8 burble, but not as loud as the stock mufflers on my 1200. I've had glasspacks before on cars, never heard anything like it was in the cab of that pickup before. Now I realize the cooling fan is noisy... Turns kinda stiff, suspect it should have a new fluid drive whatchamacallit. Been so long since I changed one, I forget, ain't they supposed to spin easy when the motor isn't running?
