Would be fun on mine out there right now - if the roads weren't covered with metal dissolver, which works very well on crude Russian steel.
Not mine, was ridden one winter locally and didn't even make it to spring. He gave up at this point and sold the mess for $800, no salt, worth probably around $5000 at the time. I first turned it down because I didn't have room for the sidecar inside, then thought what the hell, just dump it in the backyard, but by then he'd sold it. It would have been worth it for the seat, fairing and 750 motor with electric start that would have slipped right into my old 650 with no electric start (that sidekick BMW kickstarter sucks). Probably could have unloaded the sidecar for $300-400 easy, too, it was actually just all surface rust at that point. Actually glad I didn't, would just add to the pile of unfinished projects.

Bet a sidecar rig would be fun out on the lake. Not much snow on top of the ice so probably be able to do some good whoop t does.

I wanted to get the Ural on a lake, but they've never been frozen over good enough when the roads weren't salted.
