our town has it's own electical company.....only reason I stay here..

 

TVA is statewide. Far as I know it's the own government run electric facility

 

rates are cheap...fuel fired generated...was coal now natural gas....

 

Natural gas is killing coal right now... but I don't see it staying that way. It's artificially low and it's going to come up, eventually

 

I'll be long gone by then

 

Only time will tell. I don't think it's gonna take that long. Another thing, those natural gas rigs aren't meant to run long term. They're supposed to go a couple weeks at a time. Pushing them like they are is shortening their life drastically
