Good evening gents. Well I am learning to get round with my foot in a walking cast. It looks like it will be a long row to hoe as it appears to have been broken for quite a while and the hospital actually checked me for blood clots in my leg but never xrayed my foot or they might have found the 2 broken bones...ouch. It was a decent day but I'm not going to go out as I hope it will heal before the golf season is over....

 

Hey Rocket, any progress in this day and age of the attacks on pensions and benefits is something to cherish. We are the last few Americans to have the ambition to organise and to fight for strength and fairness for the middleclass and workers.Of course most people want to know who the Hell we are demanding a pension and healthcare anyways.And lets face it most feel we have no right to demand affordable blood pressure meds because the market place is self restraining and would never profiteer off the elderly and ill. All those non productive retired union pensioners should just shut up and shuffle off to the soylent green factory...In that final act of selflessness we heroically make room in our well kept homes for two or three minimum wage families to move in and share that which we have built with our skilled labor. Our neighborhood is filled with extended families living and subletting rooms, including their garages, filled with furniture and kitchen appliances sitting with the doors up and cursing the grey haired "Muricans" as we rumble past their driveways filled with imports on our Harley and Fords. I actually found that perjoriitive for a truck driving red neck scrawled on my back window, right above my Coast Guard Medalian. I wished I could have confronted the ********, laughed in his face and said remember sucker, all this is paid for, you'll never live a life like mine, you and your kind are to weak to fight for it. Darnit, Sugarlips returned from walking Buster and is now going to ride her bike around the block....
