When I do type I have to use one of those stick things or I hit 2 or 3 keys at once and the phone picks the wrong one out of them every time. My daughter can use both thumbs to type as fast as I talk, but my thumbs cover too many keys, an exercise in futility. Voicing text messages never comes close to my Granddaughter's name and some of the phrases it comes up with are so funny I go ahead and send them that way.
Finally, a dry day and not supposed to get above 80. I'll be able to go outside without sweat running into my eyes. Should do height reduction on the green, but it kind of sucks spending comfortable weather on that.

Getting laundry done while waiting for dew to burn off so I can cut the grass. Then go grocery shopping and maybe back up to the lake this evening.

Didn't use staples when I was in an Army hospital, used stainless steel wire, which probably looks and feels similar. Had several in my thigh, and when time came to pull them, I got a rather large Army nurse for the task. She had a small wire cutter, very slowly and carefully cut a wire, and very slowly and carefully pulled it out, and for some reason was giggling the whole time which caused all her to jiggle all over; kind of like your avatar, Denny. Bad part was, when you cut that stuff with wire cutters, it leaves a little pointed tip bent over just a bit, and digs a little bloody groove as it pulls out. Quite painful. As the second one was slowly coming out, I'd had enough and grabbed the pliers away from her, snipped all the remaining wires real quick, and then yanked them all out fast. She looked surprised at first, and then more giggling and jiggling.
Another guy I shared that hospital quonset hut with had a row of steel stitches from his groin to his breastbone. They made him walk to the toilet, and it was painful to watch. He took very short, very slow steps while holding his gut with both hands to relieve the pressure of his innards trying to get out. By the time he took a few steps, drops of blood started running down his belly. Dark skinned black man, bright silver stitches, and bright red blood, with a look of anguish on his face. Can't forget that image.
