Pool party at my daughter's this afternoon. Gonna be lots of food & booze, and looks like we're getting a window between thunderstorms that will work just fine. 'Cept for 90* high humadity weather, but most of em will be cooling in the pool. I managed to scrape some skin off my elbow, so I'll have to stay out. They're friends with the owner of a good restaurant nearby and he donated quite a bit of good food the last party, be nice if that happens again.

Late reply, drove through a gully washer to get there, when all the folks showed up, it let up for a couple hours and those that wanted to had a good time in the pool. A guy stronger than me tossed my grandson like a frisbee and he did a full 360 before bellying in. Never seen that done before.

Sounded like a major battle here for 4 or 5 hours, hardly a break in the shooting and cannon fire. Some of the people around here spend a heck of a lot of money on fireworks. I could live without it...
