Yeah, but I'm not going to....no more crawling under vehicles for me, tired of that sh*t. Besides, I can't buy the stuff for what they charge $29.95 oil, filter and check a bunch of other stuff.

Exactly! Sad but true...the days of the $15-20 at home oil change are over

Morning from then Tower of just a little Power.
Need positive Karma and prayers Woodmiesters - no, my health is fine.
My Canadian bound semi contractor/driver just bailed because his Canadian certs aren't current. (Mirror test??). Not much interest in heading north right now due to lack of back hauls.
My stuff has to be up there for a show....... and tomorrow was the original delivery date. We can do early Monday am as a default. This is going to hit in the pocketbook hard, if we can even book this in time. Got a bunch of network folks looking. Oooooffff.

yep, had the dealer do an oil change last year on the Z car. $60...would have cost me over $50 just for oil and filter and would have taken me half a day by the time I moved cars around, get car up on 2x6s to get a jack underneath, get jack stands under it, remove skid plate and then undo everything and clean up

Oil Changes ... My Silverado and "Red's" Equinox use the "Dexos" oil ... The Equinox uses the synthetic trans fluid too ( that was $180.00 for a fluid change ) ... You almost have to go to the Credit Union before you head to the Oil Change Center :>(

I remember back in the 80's , an oil change on my 911 Porsche would cost me under $15 and it took 12qts of oil! Castrol GTX was $11 a case.

I had a 911 Pinto. It was the kind that would 'asplode if rear ended...thus necessitating a call to 911
