I'd get my knees (and everything else) in the wind if I stepped out my front door. And get instantly soaked. Waves blowing across my cul de sac circle, and the big trees out back are bending into the power lines. I expect the house will go dark any minute. TV said there are 80mph gusts in the area.

I used to like riding in storms like this, as long as it wasn't far from the house, not on a trip. I feel a bit of an urge to take the Russian sidecar rig out and find some muddy farm roads, but a lady friend is visiting and she's not liking this even in the house.

Hey folks. Hi Moldie.
That system just blew through here about an hour ago. Strong cell.
No problems here thankfully and hope you get through unscathed.

It's about over here now, brief period of high wind, but the power lines held. For a change, power goes out a few times a year here, doesn't seem to take much. Maybe they're getting the weak points fixed at last.

Morning Outlaw Woodrow's...
Mick probably already told the story, considering how many Roadglide lovers there seems to be on the TOAK.
P2 opens at 10am. We strolled in a bit before, but there were already wound up with a BBQ cook off. We walk into the bar, and there's a new Roadglide with apes parked inside the bar between tables, right about where Russ, Kristi, Mike and Julia and I ate.
Chatted the owner up and he said owner of said Roadglide was too effed up to ride home last nite, so he pushed his bike in the bar and called him a cab..
Now that's my kinda bar owner...
