Any of ya get bored, I'm looking for a new hose for the high buck vacuum I bought to suck up cuttings off the mill I have.
Hose for the Stihl vacuum is about 1.25" ID, it's a ribbed plastic hose about 20 foot long or so, worked great till the kerosene I use as a coolant/lubricant started dissolving the plastic.
Guy at Stihl said it's not for chemicals.
Told him it'd been nice to say that in the literature..before I bought it.
Anyway, if you know of a chain store or web site that may have something that will work, let me know.
I'm wandering the web now, but it's slow going.
TIA

Go to a farm supply store and pick op some green suction hose. It should be chemical resistant. They do make it in clear like the stuff used in wineries for amonia.
