Seriously though Stan, that's a good looking bike for its age. Sounds like you got a really good deal on it. Little known fact is that a friend of mine had one of those in the early 80's that I used to ride more than he did. It was like floating on a cloud compared to what I was used to riding and I just loved how it felt like the bike was screwing itself all up because of the shaft drive when you hit the gas

Hahaha... thanks Russ, good memories I'm sure. Prior to going to the dark side I had a GL 1200, and then a 1500, and then finally an 1800. If you repeat that I will however deny it. This **** just makes me giggle and these days I'm just out for a few safe and inexpensive laughs. That old bike is kind of a kick :-)
